We would like to order some formal drawings - what is the next step?
To process an order for formal drawings we require the following:
- The informal drawings
- A copy of the objection notice if the drawings have already been objected to
- The region in which the application is being made
- The date by which you need the drawings for approval
- If available, copies of the original or source drawings from which the informal drawings were produced
The more information we have the greater the accuracy of the finished work. Some clients also prefer to send us a copy of the description for our reference.
Most of our clients simply send us by email the deadline, the country in which the application is being made and the informal drawings – we do the rest. We find this is a very time and cost efficient way of working.
If we have not produced formal drawings for you before please call to discuss the pricing structure you would like to use.
What about deadlines?
We do our utmost to meet deadlines and we do not charge a premium for last minute or ‘out of hours’ working.
What about confidentiality?
We guarantee absolute confidentiality and are quite happy to sign any confidentiality agreements if required.
We would like to import the finished drawings into word processor type documents - what format do you recommend?
Bitmap (*.jpeg/*.tiff /*.bmp) or Windows metafile (.*wmf) formats are usually the most suitable for this type of software, if required we can send you sample files for you to test.
We are quite happy with our current supplier of formal drawings - why should we change?
We hope you are receiving a good service from your current supplier. However, if for whatever reason you are not entirely satisfied we would welcome the opportunity to demonstrate the high quality of the service we offer. We aim to increase the quality and reduce the cost of your formal drawings.
What types of computer files can you use?
We can import most file formats into our software and always try to utilise existing data whenever possible to reduce costs.
